The Rev. Scott Lenoir is a retired priest living in Gautier with his wife, Harriett. He is a 1988 graduate of The School of Theology in Sewanee, TN. He served Mississippi churches in Greenville, Indianola, Gautier, Madison, and Ridgeland. Scott is an oblate of The Community of St. Joseph, a Benedictine religious community in the Episcopal Church. He was the editor of The Mississippi Episcopalian for 12 years and now enjoys writing fiction. The Amendment was published in 2024 by Dogwood Press in Brandon, MS.  The sequel to the first book, The Reckoning, will be published in 2026. Scott supplies at St. Pierre’s when necessary. They have one child, two grandchildren, three dogs, and a feral cat who goes to the vet annually under enormous pressure.
